Grace Community’s Local Ministry Team is excited about our church’s focus on Connect and LYNC in 2010 - 2011. To help us to do that we are providing outreach training that will equip you to make friends for Christ and share His story in our changing culture. It’s called The NET.

The NET is not a memorized presentation you sneak up on people to share. It is learning to share your testimony . . . your story of what Christ has done in your life. The NET will train you to share your story and open spiritual conversations that include essential truths of the gospel.   

You will learn to share your story in a natural, personal way that connects with people. Your network of family, friends, neighbors, work associates and acquaintances will listen to stories.

The NET goes way beyond teaching another gospel presentation. Each week you will spend time building a relationship with some-one who may not yet know Christ. Through this relationship, God can open an opportunity for you to share your story.

The NET is going prime-time. It will be taught during Sunday School beginning September 19 and will stretch out consecutive Sundays through the Fall. Cost of the training manual is $5.

Pray about being a part of The NET. As you leave today, go by the table in the foyer and pick up a Six-Day Prayer and Devotional Guide. Also check out the Training Manual. Sign your name to the list and let us know you are praying about The NET.
